APS Global’s CMMC and Research offices are on the grounds of Capitol Technology University, an NSA & DHS Center of Excellence. APS Global’s founder, Dr. Richard Hansen, CISSP, CMMC-CCA/CCP, designs and teaches cybersecurity courses, is a Dissertation Chair for Doctoral students, and performs research.
Dr. Hansen coaches the university’s Cybersecurity Team and speaks at DEF CON and other cybersecurity conferences. His research includes leading a student team in identifying LIDAR vulnerabilities for autonomous vehicles and developing a simpler method of detecting the encryption vulnerability involved in the Zoom Hack of 2020.
